Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Sarmento kicked off to start the match. After 3 minutes of play, Matarruanos FC's Aristides Candeias made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Sarmento might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Sarmento ran back to his position shaking his head. Vítor Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Aristides Candeias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Vítor Couto 11 minutes into the match. Angélico Prates kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. João Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Aristides Candeias made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Couto. Caldas da Rainha SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 27th play minutes João Sarmento shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Vítor Couto and just under the crossbar into goal. Matarruanos FC's João Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Sarmento in the 33rd minute. In the 42nd match minute, Caldas da Rainha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Prates to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Candeias during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Matarruanos FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aristides Candeias hit a great ball. João Sarmento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Vítor Couto made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

João Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Candeias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vítor Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Caldas da Rainha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damião Ramires to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Veríssimo Bessa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Couto skillfully saved the ball. When Matarruanos FC's João Sarmento in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caldas da Rainha SC's goalie prevented a goal. When Emanuel Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Matarruanos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Falcão couldn't finish the play. João Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Couto having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Aristides Candeias made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Couto. Caldas da Rainha SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Vítor Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Sarmento went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. João Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vítor Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Veríssimo Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Caldas da Rainha SC's zone, Laurentino Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Couto came out of the goal and Laurentino Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Couto having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Emanuel Falcão notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Caldas da Rainha SC's Vítor Couto. Vítor Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Sarmento in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Couto saved Caldas da Rainha SC from getting behind.
