An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Oliveira in the 4th minute of play forced Sabugo's goalkeeper Aldaír Valentim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Sabugo's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Fonseca came free, but Aldaír Valentim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olavo Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Hajrá Fradi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rúben Caeiro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Moisés Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldaír Valentim. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Rui Fonseca in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldaír Valentim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sabugo's Aldaír Valentim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Sabugo from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sabugo's goalkeeper Aldaír Valentim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Hermínio Camargo made the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Novais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Mesquita having to interfere. Aldaír Valentim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Oliveira in the 59th minute of play. Aldaír Valentim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Álvaro Loureiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Olavo Mesquita to make any attempt to save it. Sabugo's Aldaír Valentim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Oliveira in the 79th minute of play. But to his dismay, Israel Madeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hajrá Fradi had played much better football throughout.
