João Estrada started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Reis HSD Paredes's goalkeeper Raul Severiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Osório. Raul Severiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olívio Oliveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. The supporters of Xtreme Academy booed when Reis HSD Paredes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abílio Vilarinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Severiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuno Bessa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Raul Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Alcântara in the 21st minute of the match. Xtreme Academy's Hermes Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Estrada in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xtreme Academy's Bento Aires got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Pedro Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game João Estrada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xtreme Academy's Hermes Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Xtreme Academy's Olívio Oliveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raul Severiano. That made the score 3-0 after 34 minutes of play. If Adriano Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olívio Oliveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raul Severiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Olívio Oliveira slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. Hermes Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Raul Severiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Olívio Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Alcântara in the 60th minute of play. If Abílio Vilarinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Lourenço Fernandes notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Reis HSD Paredes's Raul Severiano. Raul Severiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Reis HSD Paredes defense, Nuno Bessa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Severiano. The Reis HSD Paredes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Severiano should have stopped the shot. Abílio Vilarinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Rangel's late challenge caught a Reis HSD Paredes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Rangel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Caetano Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermes Abreu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Domingos Arruda. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xtreme Academy had played much better football throughout.
