After a rather tough play, SC Angrense's Hermenegildo Padilha got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Claudemiro Pestana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Alves skillfully saved the ball. When SC Angrense's Carlos Meireles in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DRAGOES FC's goalie prevented a goal. Evandro Assis scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Meireles in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes of play, SC Angrense's Erubiel Chorche made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! DRAGOES FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Emiliano Cordarrell scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Alcântara, making the score, 3-1. After 32 minutes, Manuel Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Angrense and the DRAGOES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Angrense getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Manuel Leme hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when DRAGOES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martinho Sesimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Cordarrell got free with Pedro Alcântara in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Meireles in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Alcântara saved DRAGOES FC from getting behind. Herberto Lages charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herberto Lages the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DRAGOES FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Herberto Lages hit a great ball. Isac Castanheira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The long shot by Tzeko Kotlarski in the 45th minute really tested Pedro Alcântara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Meireles to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes, SC Angrense's Hermenegildo Padilha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Alcântara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Angrense reached it. If Carlos Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. With a little luck, SC Angrense's Honorato Alves got control of the ball when Tarcísio Rebelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evandro Assis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes DRAGOES FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudemiro Pestana. After 73 minutes, Evandro Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DRAGOES FC and the SC Angrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DRAGOES FC's Evandro Assis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in DRAGOES FC's zone, Emiliano Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Alcântara came out of the goal and Emiliano Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83rd play minutes Carlos Meireles shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Alcântara and just under the crossbar into goal. SC Angrense's Teobaldo Artizar was substituted for Manuel Leme. Teobaldo Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Emiliano Cordarrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Alcântara. DRAGOES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Cordarrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. When the referee ended the match the SC Angrense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
