Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 125) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David De Boeck kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Hiperbórea got a freekick which was hit by Adélio Seabra. Hiperbórea's Henrique Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David De Boeck in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Ferrão in the 6th minute of play forced Beira Mar SC's goalkeeper Sálvio Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Hiperbórea were awarded a corner. Dário Baptista went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Tiago Ferrão heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tiago Ferrão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adélio Seabra took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sálvio Vilas Boas. Sálvio Vilas Boas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Tiago Ferrão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beira Mar SC's Sálvio Vilas Boas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joélson Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Mascia in the 27th minute of the match. Sálvio Vilas Boas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adélio Seabra in the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Hiperbórea's Burt Hodge made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sálvio Vilas Boas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th match minute, Beira Mar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Torcato to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Adélio Seabra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Hiperbórea were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adélio Seabra to strike the kick off in the second half. Sálvio Vilas Boas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adélio Seabra took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sálvio Vilas Boas. Sálvio Vilas Boas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Hiperbórea's 石德远 was substituted for Adélio Seabra. 石德远 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tiago Ferrão might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sálvio Vilas Boas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Ferrão ran back to his position shaking his head. Sálvio Vilas Boas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zacarias Pádua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 石德远 in the 70th minute of play forced Beira Mar SC's goalkeeper Sálvio Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Beira Mar SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aparício Machado to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Ferrão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 75th playminute. 石德远 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sálvio Vilas Boas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Tiago Ferrão sped through Beira Mar SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sálvio Vilas Boas. In the 88th minute, Tiago Ferrão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sálvio Vilas Boas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Hipólito Amado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrique Tinoco having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hiperbórea walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
