The Marcosta F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Heitor Matias should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Noel Couto in the 47th minute really tested Sonny Alén's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

But to his dismay, Agnaldo Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. In the 68th minute, Elias Millrick made a precise shot to the right of Heitor Matias. Marcosta F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. 70 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Heitor Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurício Mansilha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heitor Matias. That made the score 0-15 in the 74 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Mansilha in the 77th minute of play forced Marcosta F.C's goalkeeper Heitor Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Cosa Nostra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
