Sigvard Wahlnäs started the match with the kick off. If Jacob Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Schonath in the 19th minute of play. Caetano Assunção hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Francisco Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Tonali in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Robak got free with Francisco Infante in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Herberto Caiado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Guerreiro. BIAMAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herberto Caiado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Francisco Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izydor Robak in the 36th minute. Jacob Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Caio Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Schonath in the 39th minute of the match. If Jairo Estrela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ceferino Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the BIAMAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Salvatore couldn't finish the play. The supporters of BIAMAR booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Januário Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Izydor Robak sped through Lima Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Infante. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Herberto Caiado made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Wahlnäs came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Salvatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Infante was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Wahlnäs came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Schonath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Caio Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Jacob Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Seixas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Herberto Caiado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caio Guerreiro. BIAMAR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Infante came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BIAMAR's Ceferino Salvatore. But to his dismay, Ceferino Salvatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. BIAMAR's Caio Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Schonath in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes BIAMAR got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Robak. Manfred Schonath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Caio Guerreiro made a huge save. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Salvatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Izydor Robak came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the BIAMAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Robak couldn't finish the play. BIAMAR made a substitution. Gunnar Gerdberg replaced Felix Luijpers. After 79 played minutes Lima Team got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Aragão. If Ceferino Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Robak took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Caetano Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lima Team's zone, Olavo Gameiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Infante came out of the goal and Olavo Gameiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BIAMAR's Caio Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save BIAMAR from getting a goal against them. BIAMAR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
