In the 31st minute, Bacardi Black Bats's Evandro Santana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind António Trubin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Santana was the one to do the kick off. Hermenegildo Rebelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Trubin having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Evandro Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacardi Black Bats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sporting Clube de Gaya made a substitution. Wilfried Zaha replaced Justino Cedro. António Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Santana in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Clube de Gaya's zone, Evandro Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Trubin came out of the goal and Evandro Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga was substituted for Evandro Santana. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredy Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Sporting Clube de Gaya got a freekick which was hit by Paulo-Henrique Ganso. After 92 minutes of play, Bacardi Black Bats's Moisés Queiroga made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Trubin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wilfried Zaha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
