Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lixandro came free, but Baltasar Calado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Qiu Chuan Ran came out of the goal and Meng Di Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raimundo Ventura came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Ventura couldn't finish the play. FC Dezassete's Pang Kun Xi was substituted for Emanuel Millano. Rodolfo Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Calado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branco Tinto to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Ventura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Calado came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Ventura slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 77th minute. FC Dezassete's Quintino Prates was substituted for You. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branco Tinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Dezassete throughout the match.
