Júlio Valério kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, SC Serrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Rosen came free, but Gusmão Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gusmão Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Bart Buckinx. If Zeferino Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Gualter Távora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gusmão Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in SC Serrinho's zone, Waldemar Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gusmão Dias came out of the goal and Waldemar Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pinhote FC's Gualter Távora got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
