The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Metin Keçeci hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Alcides Antas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romão Mourato was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Ultra Copos FC ™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viseu United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Felipillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Ultra Copos FC ™'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Armando Felipillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodrigo Beliran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute of the match, Gilen Zabalo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodrigo Beliran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Martinho Saraiva got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Romão Mourato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Beliran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Mourato came free, but Rodrigo Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Alcides Antas. Armando Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rodrigo Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Viseu United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Metin Keçeci hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urti Baeza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urti Baeza in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolek Kiszkiel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute of the match Viseu United got a corner. Ultra Copos FC ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urti Baeza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Urti Baeza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ultra Copos FC ™'s Tolek Kiszkiel did a great save. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urti Baeza in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viseu United's goalkeeper Rodrigo Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ultra Copos FC ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armando Felipillo in the 61st minute. The corner ended in Enzo Osório almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viseu United's Rodrigo Beliran did a great save. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Pedro Goncalves was substituted for Metin Keçeci. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Nélson Laureano was substituted for Matias Porfiro. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viseu United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ultra Copos FC ™ a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Porfírio Prates, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viseu United's Rodrigo Beliran. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Viseu United's Tolek Kiszkiel threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nilmar Maia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Silviano in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Beliran saved Viseu United from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Marcial Silviano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Silviano in the 94th minute of play. Rodrigo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Goncalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Armando Felipillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Viseu United's Rodrigo Beliran did a great save. Ultra Copos FC ™'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
