Darius McRaild charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius McRaild the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Darius McRaild got a free kick in the 2nd minute. If Pierce Hurdle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 7 minutes, Zak Boulton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Boulton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ballymoney Athletic's Frankie Cardwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zak Boulton in the 10th minute of play. Zak Boulton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Pierce Hurdle lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Frankie Cardwell. In the 29th minute, Connor Ashton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Holden was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Frankie Cardwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiera Archer in the 32nd minute of the match. Frankie Cardwell was a little too slow when Kiera Archer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 40th minute, Sid Legg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Zak Boulton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Frankie Cardwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zak Boulton, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Zak Boulton, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Autocares Vázquez Olmedo. After 48 played minutes Autocares Vázquez Olmedo got a freekick which was hit by Pierce Hurdle. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

55 minutes into the match, Zak Boulton notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ballymoney Athletic's Frankie Cardwell. Frankie Cardwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Darius McRaild got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pierce Hurdle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Cardwell having to interfere. In the 67th minute Connor Ashton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Autocares Vázquez Olmedo fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Pierce Hurdle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 75 minutes of play, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Zak Boulton made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Cardwell was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Autocares Vázquez Olmedo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gary Carroll hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ballymoney Athletic's Connor Ashton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Holden. Alexander Holden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-2. Gary Carroll's late challenge caught a Ballymoney Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gary Carroll helped the player get up and apologised. Frankie Cardwell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiera Archer's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Rich Pennant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Holden having to interfere. Connor Ashton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Autocares Vázquez Olmedo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kiera Archer hit a great ball.
