The supporters of Flamengo booed when Autocares Vázquez Olmedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pat Peakman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Alexander Holden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo played a much better game than Autocares Vázquez Olmedo and deserved their victory. The Autocares Vázquez Olmedo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
