In the 75th minute, Mjölnir Vilmarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. In the 81st minute, Akranes's Gong Yuan Zheng ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gong Yuan Zheng went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yuan Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Mjölnir Vilmarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glói Emilsson got free with Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mjölnir Vilmarsson in the 96th minute of play forced Feiko FC's goalkeeper Þjóstólfur Ósvaldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Akranes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Feiko FC.
