Myrtlegrove's Phelan Johnson suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 18 minutes into the game, Douglas Cronin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nicker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Myrtlegrove the free kick. Branigan McPhilip hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Tomás McWillie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás McWillie in the 39th minute of play forced Myrtlegrove's goalkeeper Caroll Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Myrtlegrove's Liam Barrett got a free kick in the 41st minute. Caroll Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás McWillie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Myrtlegrove the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Barram McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Branigan McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan McPeter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branigan McPhilip hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Tomás McWillie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Caroll Rutherford 87 minutes into the match. Caroll Rutherford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Andrew Lester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caroll Rutherford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
