Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Begley Caffrey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Binnech Ghee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balladian FC and the Lisgorey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Balladian FC got a freekick which was hit by Binnech Ghee. 6 minutes into the match, Balladian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bret Hamilton came free, but Toren Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toren Kirby came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Lisgorey's Perry McJohnny. But to his dismay, Perry McJohnny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Perry McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Balladian FC's Binnech Ghee slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brite Tierney. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. A collision led to Lisgorey getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Braoin Prunty hit a great ball. Brite Tierney made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Begley Caffrey sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Rorey Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Bret Hamilton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Toren Kirby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reamann Morrison in the 35th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Begley Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brite Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Binnech Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balladian FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binnech Ghee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brite Tierney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry McVictor in the 41st minute. Binnech Ghee hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bret Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry McVictor struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Brite Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balladian FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevis McLian during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Balladian FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevis McLian. Perry McJohnny's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Toren Kirby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 62 minutes into the match, Binnech Ghee notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Lisgorey's Brite Tierney. Brite Tierney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lisgorey's Quirk McJon got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Balladian FC's Toren Kirby got control of the ball when Perry McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Balladian FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Binnech Ghee hit a great ball. The supporters of Lisgorey booed when Balladian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadar McWill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebhinn Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rorey Benson. 89 minutes into the match, Lisgorey's goal looked a bit too open when Barcvni Caffey came free, but Brite Tierney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reamann Morrison hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lisgorey's zone, Harry McVictor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brite Tierney came out of the goal and Harry McVictor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toren Kirby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perry McJohnny in the 95th minute. Balladian FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
