Giles Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alexander McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blavock McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hedgetown's zone, Blavock McSteven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander McDecland came out of the goal and Blavock McSteven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cherrywood Celtic FC's Barram McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaine Delaney in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blaine Delaney in the 35th minute of play forced Cherrywood Celtic FC's goalkeeper Barram McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giles Coyle was the one to do the kick off. In the 62ndth minute of the game Giles Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedgetown's Alexander McDecland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Cherrywood Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine Delaney came free, but Barram McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barram McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phelan Beckett in the 73rd minute of play.
