Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breenan Ghee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bannan Duggan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gearard Ferguson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Breenan Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peafield's supporters rose to their feet, but Breenan Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bree Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kevion Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peafield's protests and gave Kevion Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Peafield's Kevion Tierney got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Brede McLaughlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peafield's supporters rose to their feet, but Brede McLaughlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oughteragh United's goalkeeper Bree Keegan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rowan Ramsey took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bree Keegan. Bree Keegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Peafield's Bannan Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Rutherford in the 95th minute of play. The Oughteragh United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peafield's performance. The match ended with a win for Peafield.
