Gil Matthews's late challenge caught a Kilmacanoge Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curran John blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brennen Hamilton having to make a save. Blavock McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beehan Gillmour having to interfere. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kilmacanoge Utd's goalkeeper Brennen Hamilton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kilmacanoge Utd's Brennen Hamilton got control of the ball when Barnaby Silke tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairee Caffrey couldn't finish the play. Beehan Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blavock McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
