Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patton McWill made the kick off and thus started the match. Brendon Palmer made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bellaghy Deery. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Patton McWill sped through Calluragh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boynton McVictor. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek's late challenge caught a Calluragh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek helped the player get up and apologised. Bodibeua McWillie made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Rooney Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Rooney Byrne might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bodibeua McWillie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rooney Byrne ran back to his position shaking his head. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boynton McVictor. Boynton McVictor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Rooney Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Calluragh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rooney Byrne couldn't finish the play. Bellaghy Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bodibeua McWillie having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Ballyguin's goal looked a bit too open when Bellaghy Deery came free, but Bodibeua McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Ballyguin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calluragh:s goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Calluragh's Donell Frankson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bodibeua McWillie. After 39 minutes, Barclay McStephen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyguin and the Calluragh players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Calluragh booed when Ballyguin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barclay McStephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brakawn Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bodibeua McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rooney Byrne in the 42nd minute. Boynton McVictor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Tomiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Ballyguin were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Arthur Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Rooney Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Bodibeua McWillie. Ballyguin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 57 minutes, Arthur Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballyguin and the Calluragh players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Ballyguin got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Robinson. After a defensive mix-up in Calluragh's zone, Patton McWill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boynton McVictor came out of the goal and Patton McWill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Ballyguin's Wawrzyniec Tomiczek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A collision led to Calluragh getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Brendon Palmer hit a great ball. Peadair McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Tomiczek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boynton McVictor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baiste Scully in the 75th minute of play forced Ballyguin's goalkeeper Bodibeua McWillie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play Ballyguin's Wawrzyniec Tomiczek was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ballyguin's Wawrzyniec Tomiczek got a free kick in the 76th minute. Brendon Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A hard shot 87 in the game by Patton McWill from a close distance when the talented Boynton McVictor managed to make a qualified save. Calluragh's players were relieved. Patton McWill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boynton McVictor having to make a save. Barclay McStephen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boynton McVictor came out and tried to block the shot, but Barclay McStephen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ballyguin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
