Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brennon McIan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Portleen FC's Brennon McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brennon McIan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shamus McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Brennon McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portleen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brennon McIan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bedilia Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bedilia Robinson was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Brennon McIan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brennon McIan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Killeany's goalkeeper Bedilia Robinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brennon McIan. Killeany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Coileán McLiam scored to the left of an out of position Bedilia Robinson, making the score, 2-0. Colmcille Frankson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breadan Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Bedilia Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Portleen FC's Brennon McIan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brennon McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedilia Robinson having to interfere. Portleen FC's Colmcille Frankson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brine Costello in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Brine Costello made the kick off in the second half. Bedilia Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearse Beckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Portleen FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Toran McOliver hit a great ball. Bedilia Robinson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brennon McIan went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Flannery Rutherford hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to Killeany getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Boyle Dimson hit a great ball. Brennon McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Breanainn Beckett fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killeany's protests and gave Breanainn Beckett a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Brennon McIan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killeany's Bedilia Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conor Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bedilia Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portleen FC's Coileán McLiam got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Brennon McIan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Portleen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brennon McIan couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Killeany's goal looked a bit too open when Conor Ramsey came free, but Bedilia Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyle Dimson charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyle Dimson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Boyle Dimson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Brennon McIan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedilia Robinson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Conor Ramsey made a precise shot to the right of Bedilia Robinson. Killeany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Portleen FC fully deserved thier win.
