Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brine Costello got the match started through his kick off. When Becan McSteven came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Lavey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Becan McSteven couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, Becan McSteven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bedilia Robinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bowie Cooney hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam got control of the ball when Breadan Gillmour tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Lavey's goalkeeper Tiarnan McLiam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyle Dimson. Brine Costello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Tiarnan McLiam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiarnan McLiam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boyle Dimson in the 16th minute. Tiarnan McLiam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Breanainn Beckett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Breanainn Beckett scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiarnan McLiam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boyle Dimson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tiarnan McLiam made a huge save. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyle Dimson in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Brine Costello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiarnan McLiam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 35 played minutes Lavey got a freekick which was hit by Todd McVictor. In the 36th minute Brine Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiarnan McLiam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boyle Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Killeany fans jumped to their feet. In the 43rd minute Fergal McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedilia Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiarnan McLiam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyle Dimson in the 45th minute of the match. If Boyle Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Becan McSteven made a kick off. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brine Costello in the 52nd minute of play. Artt McStephen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artt McStephen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lavey's Artt McStephen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brine Costello in the 56th minute of play forced Lavey's goalkeeper Tiarnan McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Killeany's goal looked a bit too open when Becan McSteven came free, but Bedilia Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Lavey's goal looked a bit too open when Brine Costello came free, but Tiarnan McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Killeany's goal looked a bit too open when Fergal McWill came free, but Bedilia Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lavey defense, Breanainn Beckett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiarnan McLiam. The Lavey fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiarnan McLiam should have stopped the shot. If Fergal McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Killeany's Bedilia Robinson got control of the ball when Becan McSteven tried to sneak it across the goal line. Todd McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Tiarnan McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brine Costello in the 90th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Killeany players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
