Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristopher Kidd got the match started through his kick off. Ted Rockett came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Genesis Inferno FC's Jorge Nevada. But to his dismay, Jorge Nevada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Jorge Nevada took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ted Rockett to make any attempt to save it. 16 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Rockey came free, but Ted Rockett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genesis Inferno FC's Vance Bedford shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ted Rockett but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Rockey in the 20th minute of play forced Glastonbury's goalkeeper Ted Rockett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Rockett made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jorge Nevada sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Rockey got free with Ted Rockett in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genesis Inferno FC's Jorge Nevada came free and shot a quick shot against goal 23 minutes in the game, fortunately Ted Rockett had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 25th minute, Gary Shaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Jorge Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Rockett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Rockett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Bird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Kidd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Turner having to interfere. Ted Rockett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Bird in the 35th minute of the match. Ted Rockett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Nevada went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Glastonbury's Ted Rockett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Glastonbury from getting a goal against them. Ted Rockett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Westlake in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Rockey in the 46th minute of play forced Glastonbury's goalkeeper Ted Rockett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phil Rockey was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Genesis Inferno FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Johnny Holbrook hit a great ball. Kristopher Kidd struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Stevie Turner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glastonbury. Kristopher Kidd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stevie Turner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buster Ellison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ted Rockett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phil Rockey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Rockett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Phil Rockey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Rockett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ted Rockett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Nevada's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Phil Rockey took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Rockett. Ted Rockett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ted Rockett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Rockey in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jorge Nevada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Rockett was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. If Phil Rockey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tod Westlake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Rockett having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match Vance Bedford sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ted Rockett skillfully saved the ball.
