Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tristram Blake got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Tristram Blake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Day. Alsager AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tristram Blake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tristram Blake scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Great Addington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Lowndes came free, but Kenny Warrender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Day was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Tristram Blake capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tristram Blake really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Alsager AFC. Jack Young stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kenny Warrender. 3-1. Great Addington AFC's Vince Buckley got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tristram Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Addington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristram Blake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Alsager AFC's Shane Hellen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Great Addington AFC's Kenny Warrender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devon Lowndes in the 30th minute of play. Devon Lowndes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevie Bland kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Kenny Warrender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Darnbrooke in the 39th minute of the match. If Devon Lowndes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Francis Darnbrooke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alsager AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francis Darnbrooke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Warrender breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Warrender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Darnbrooke, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Devon Lowndes made the kick off in the second half. Damian Alsford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tristram Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Devon Lowndes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenny Warrender having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alsager AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ruben Holden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Addington AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Holden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevie Bland's late challenge caught a Great Addington AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stevie Bland helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Day came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Great Addington AFC's Tristram Blake. But to his dismay, Tristram Blake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 76th minute of the match Iain Haigh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Day skillfully saved the ball. When Great Addington AFC's Tristram Blake in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alsager AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th match minute, Alsager AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ged Noble to maneuver through the defense. The Great Addington AFC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Great Addington AFC's Tristram Blake looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruben Holden kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tristram Blake in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Day saved Alsager AFC from getting behind. 98 minutes into the game, Devon Lowndes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenny Warrender. Devon Lowndes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Great Addington AFC had won after a very even match.
