HeadHunters's Ritchie Butcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Willoughby in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Travis Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind HeadHunters's goalkeeper Ritchie Butcher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, manchester city's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Waite came free, but Lewis Bramhall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Travis Hollingsworth succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Dylon Ellis fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HeadHunters's protests and gave Dylon Ellis a yellow card for diving instead. Byron West, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 23rd minute, Dale Hall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Butcher came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by manchester city's Dale Hall. But to his dismay, Dale Hall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Travis Hollingsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Butcher having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Hall in the 33rd minute of play forced HeadHunters's goalkeeper Ritchie Butcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Travis Hollingsworth sped through HeadHunters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ritchie Butcher. Ritchie Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Trevor Trunks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lewis Bramhall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in HeadHunters fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! After the first half manchester city were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

57 minutes into the match, manchester city's Travis Hollingsworth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ritchie Butcher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Trevor Trunks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylon Ellis kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Byron West sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HeadHunters's Ritchie Butcher didn't even have to move. Ritchie Butcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Travis Hollingsworth in the 72nd minute of the match. Dale Hall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Butcher having to interfere. Trevor Trunks struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lewis Bramhall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HeadHunters. Travis Hollingsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Travis Hollingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ritchie Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Travis Hollingsworth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ritchie Butcher was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
