Ross Alcock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregory Read hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sam Higson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Ackroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Ackroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Higson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wellington FC's Syd Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Reid in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Huragan Tapkowice's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Alcock came free, but Tommy Ackroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Sam Higson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tommy Ackroyd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Ackroyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Alcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Sam Higson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huragan Tapkowice's Tommy Ackroyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Higson in the 36th minute of play forced Huragan Tapkowice's goalkeeper Tommy Ackroyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ross Alcock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Ackroyd having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Higson in the 40th minute of play forced Huragan Tapkowice's goalkeeper Tommy Ackroyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam Higson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tommy Ackroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Sam Higson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Ackroyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darryl Rouse hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam Higson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ross Alcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Ackroyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ross Alcock in the 60th minute. The supporters of Wellington FC booed when Huragan Tapkowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Adcock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ross Alcock made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Ackroyd. Huragan Tapkowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ross Alcock didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 68th minute. Wellington FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 71st minute, Sam Higson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tommy Ackroyd, passed just outside the right post. If Ross Alcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Huragan Tapkowice's Tommy Ackroyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Higson in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huragan Tapkowice's Marcus Dawson got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Ross Alcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ross Alcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wellington FC's Ross Alcock got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Huragan Tapkowice's Thomas Adcock got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ross Alcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Tommy Ackroyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
