Shane Weirs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Mike Nightingale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, one of LC Exiles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for STORM CITY. Bobby Deacon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ben Charie. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Chaz Green hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spike Kellaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Mickey Barfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Weir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mike Nightingale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes STORM CITY got a freekick which was hit by Chaz Green. STORM CITY's Mike Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Weir in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute Louie Carroll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Charie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes LC Exiles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bobby Deacon who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Basil Cutts advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 36th minute. Louie Carroll struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ben Charie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORM CITY. 48 minutes into the game, Austin Chandler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ben Charie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Austin Chandler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Austin Chandler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ben Charie. The goal made the score 0-5. After a rather tough play, LC Exiles's Oliver Busby got a free kick in the 65th minute. STORM CITY's Austin Chandler got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Louie Carroll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ben Charie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Austin Chandler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ben Charie. Austin Chandler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 73 minutes into the match, STORM CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Weir came free, but Mike Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austin Chandler did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Ben Charie 76 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in STORM CITY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave LC Exiles a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rupert Avery, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of STORM CITY's Mike Nightingale. 1-7. Louie Carroll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Carroll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Charie having to interfere. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind LC Exiles's goalkeeper Ben Charie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
