After some careless play in the Hojen Rovers defense, Fraser Slator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dexter Twig. The Hojen Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dexter Twig should have stopped the shot. If Robin Featherstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fraser Slator came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dunav RuseCity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fraser Slator couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Hojen Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Dean Longstaff.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alastair Pascoe made a kick off. Alastair Pascoe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Stonehouse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Robin Featherstone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Dexter Twig managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Dunav RuseCity's Fraser Slator fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Alastair Pascoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dexter Twig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Kearney in the 94th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, one of Dunav RuseCity:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
