Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Buster Parsons started the match with the kick off. Pierce Grantham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Weir in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Richard Carter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mike Rundle. Richard Carter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephen Weir in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierce Grantham saved Yellow Hornets A.F.C. from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Shane Crayon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, one of Yellow Hornets A.F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute Yellow Hornets A.F.C. were awarded a corner. Rupert Hislop went to the cornerflag to take it. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Ronan Oldroyd was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mike Rundle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Collier in the 32nd minute of play forced Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Pierce Grantham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Stephen Weir notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Pierce Grantham. Pierce Grantham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stephen Weir struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Pierce Grantham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kmaster FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Carter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Pierce Grantham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buster Parsons in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Ollie Milligan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierce Grantham showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pierce Grantham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Parsons, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Vince Ellerby fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s protests and gave Vince Ellerby a yellow card for diving instead. Vince Ellerby hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stephen Weir got free with Pierce Grantham in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Kmaster FC's Buster Parsons dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. If Richard Carter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Weir struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Pierce Grantham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kmaster FC. Pierce Grantham made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Stephen Weir sent off a good shot on target. If Ted Graydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Weir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierce Grantham having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Lucas Collier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierce Grantham. Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Collier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Buster Parsons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kmaster FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Buster Parsons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierce Grantham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Yellow Hornets A.F.C.'s Stuart Mannell got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Buster Parsons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierce Grantham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stephen Weir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Partridge struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Mike Rundle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yellow Hornets A.F.C.. Buster Parsons kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kmaster FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
