The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guy Whittingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gwyn Barkley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay Parkinson in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gwyn Barkley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shoeburyness AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giles Lobb was slow to take the kick. During this time ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Giles Lobb to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwyn Barkley despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jay Parkinson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Shoeburyness AFC's Gwyn Barkley. Gwyn Barkley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Jay Parkinson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwyn Barkley. Shoeburyness AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay Parkinson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jay Parkinson made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gwyn Barkley would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jay Parkinson came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gwyn Barkley could save by the left post. Richard Green sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brad Story-Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Richard Green sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwyn Barkley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Richard Green in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ® fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Jay Parkinson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the game, Guy Whittingham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gwyn Barkley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gwyn Barkley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Green in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Shane Huxtable shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Chiverton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Chiverton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Huxtable, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Shane Huxtable received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pedro Chiverton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwyn Barkley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Green in the 74th minute of play. Gwyn Barkley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Green in the 77th minute of the match. Guy Whittingham took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwyn Barkley. Gwyn Barkley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Shane Huxtable 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shoeburyness AFC:s goal. The referee gave Shoeburyness AFC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harry Vickers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s Pedro Chiverton. 5-2. In the 92nd minute Richard Green shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Barkley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Shoeburyness AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Vickers to maneuver through the defense. Kristopher Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ◄19A10► R-W-R Warriors ®'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
