Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sebastian Revell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Banbury United's Stefan Fitzsymon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Buster Ashton but with some difficulty. A collision led to Keighley FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Laurence Shakespeare hit a great ball. Byron Afful who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Buster Ashton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Keighley FC's Buster Ashton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Keighley FC from getting a goal against them. If Neil Bzeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buster Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Bzeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes in the game, Byron Afful fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Buster Ashton having to interfere. Neil Bzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buster Ashton having to interfere. When Banbury United's Neil Bzeu in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keighley FC's goalie prevented a goal. Neil Bzeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Buster Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Clare's late challenge caught a Banbury United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Clare helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Keighley FC's Felix Clare got a free kick in the 30th minute. Neil Bzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buster Ashton having to interfere. If Neil Bzeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Harrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Adamson in the 36th minute of play. Banbury United's Louis Basterfield couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Keighley FC. Vincent Kingston kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Neil Bzeu made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Byron Afful in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buster Ashton saved Keighley FC from getting behind. Sebastian Revell kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neil Bzeu in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Buster Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eric Adamson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keighley FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Adamson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Harrad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Adamson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Harrad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Revell in the 79th minute of play forced Banbury United's goalkeeper Alfred Harrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Harrad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Revell went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 87 minutes, Hayden Falkingham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banbury United and the Keighley FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Banbury United getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Hayden Falkingham hit a great ball. Buster Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Bzeu in the 97th minute of play.
