After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jimmy Cheswick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thrybergh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Cheswick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Blewett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antony Boston kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Jimmy Cheswick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Sean Archer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jimmy Cheswick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Blewett having to make a save. Sean Archer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felix Blewett firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jimmy Cheswick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felix Blewett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Len Beckwith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felix Blewett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sean Archer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute of the match Vernon Worrall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Blewett skillfully saved the ball. Sean Archer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Sean Archer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea F.C's Felix Blewett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Karl Fleetwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Blewett. Chelsea F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Fleetwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sean Archer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Blewett having to interfere. Felix Blewett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Archer in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea F.C's goalkeeper Felix Blewett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute Sean Archer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Blewett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thrybergh AFC's Jimmy Cheswick managed to work through Chelsea F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jimmy Cheswick dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Archer in the 80th minute of play forced Chelsea F.C's goalkeeper Felix Blewett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Sean Archer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Blewett. Chelsea F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Archer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Jimmy Cheswick scored 6-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Blewett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Jimmy Cheswick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Felix Blewett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thrybergh AFC had played much better football throughout.
