Louie Hickson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddie Wiseman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ashford Fc's Bryan Warburton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Blewett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Ashford Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mick Lomas to maneuver through the defense. Felix Blewett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mick Lomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Blewett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig Knight in the 32nd minute of the match. Bryan Warburton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Blewett having to make a save. Ashford Fc's Mick Lomas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Craig Knight received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Felix Blewett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Blewett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stu Hough's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Knight in the 69th minute of play forced Chelsea F.C's goalkeeper Felix Blewett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephen Beerman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Felix Blewett 72 minutes into the match.
