Spectators: 6822 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when CJ Etherington got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, CJ Etherington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Mason made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ash Higgins sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Charlie Bennett made a precise shot to the right of Felix Rushforth. FC Spalding Panthers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to FC Spalding Panthers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carl Maston hit a great ball. Charlie Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Rushforth having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, FC Spalding Panthers's goal looked a bit too open when Crispin Bird came free, but Felix Rushforth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Carl Maston took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ian Mason to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute of the match Rowan Page shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Mason showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Rushforth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Crispin Bird in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Carl Maston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Spalding Panthers and the F.c. Talent! players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Spalding Panthers's Carl Maston got a free kick in the 26th minute. Crispin Bird blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Rushforth having to make a save. Charlie Bennett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Felix Rushforth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Spalding Panthers's Felix Rushforth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispin Bird in the 35th minute of play. FC Spalding Panthers's Carl Maston collided with an opponent after 37 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. After 37 minutes, Andre Proctor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.c. Talent! and the FC Spalding Panthers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to F.c. Talent! getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Andre Proctor hit a great ball. Danny Canning came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Felix Rushforth, but to the joy of FC Spalding Panthers's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Charlie Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Crispin Bird stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Blair Bell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crispin Bird's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Rushforth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. FC Spalding Panthers's Felix Rushforth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Spalding Panthers from getting a goal against them. Crispin Bird's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Rushforth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. CJ Etherington hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Crispin Bird who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Spalding Panthers's Felix Rushforth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ash Higgins managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Spalding Panthers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ash Higgins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Mason breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danny Canning kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.c. Talent!'s zone, Ash Higgins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Mason came out of the goal and Ash Higgins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danny Canning hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Spalding Panthers's Marty Crowther tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The FC Spalding Panthers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.c. Talent!'s performance. The match ended with a win for F.c. Talent!.
