One of Curttannia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kidderminster Town:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sol Sutton during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the match, Kidderminster Town's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Dunning came free, but Andy Spears reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jim Goldthorpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kidderminster Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Goldthorpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Lovett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jim Goldthorpe came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kidderminster Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Goldthorpe couldn't finish the play. Wes Lovett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jermaine Holloway in the 24th minute of play. Curttannia FC's Wes Lovett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sacha Lawson in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Kidderminster Town's Jermaine Holloway sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wes Lovett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29thth minute of the game Jermaine Holloway who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curttannia FC's Wes Lovett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Goldthorpe in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wes Lovett saved Curttannia FC from getting behind. Jim Goldthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Lovett having to interfere. In the 39th minute Jermaine Holloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Lovett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Tyler Pointon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jermaine Holloway came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kidderminster Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Holloway couldn't finish the play. After the first half Kidderminster Town were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jermaine Holloway stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jim Goldthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Lovett having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Caleb Cowling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kidderminster Town and the Curttannia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Kidderminster Town got a freekick which was hit by Caleb Cowling. After a defensive mix-up in Kidderminster Town's zone, Ronan Brooks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Spears came out of the goal and Ronan Brooks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Ronan Brooks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curttannia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kidderminster Town the free kick. Ronan Brooks kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jermaine Holloway managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kidderminster Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Jermaine Holloway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Lovett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronan Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Goldthorpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Goldthorpe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wes Lovett came out and tried to block the shot, but Jim Goldthorpe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 77th minute. Wes Lovett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jermaine Holloway in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jermaine Holloway in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wes Lovett saved Curttannia FC from getting behind. Johnathon Hilditch hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jim Goldthorpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kidderminster Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Goldthorpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Lovett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curttannia FC's goalkeeper Wes Lovett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Goldthorpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wes Lovett having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Jermaine Holloway ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wes Lovett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 96thth minute of the game Jermaine Holloway who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curttannia FC's Wes Lovett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Kidderminster Town left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curttannia FC.
