Bromley Boys's Louie Hawkins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Bromley Boys from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Bromley Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Laycock came free, but Louie Hawkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Bromley Boys's Noel Beech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristopher Chilton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Bromley Boys's Louie Hawkins got control of the ball when Guy Gunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Lavendon City's Guy Gunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louie Hawkins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristopher Chilton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristopher Chilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Beech, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Beech in the 29th minute of play forced Lavendon City's goalkeeper Kristopher Chilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Lavendon City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Lester to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Noel Beech made a precise shot to the right of Kristopher Chilton. Lavendon City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Beech in the 34th minute of play forced Lavendon City's goalkeeper Kristopher Chilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bromley Boys's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Perry Laycock 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Guy Gunn's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Louie Hawkins firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Guy Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ash Adcock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristopher Chilton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Kristopher Chilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Beech, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Gunn made a kick off. Louie Hawkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Gunn in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guy Gunn in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louie Hawkins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristopher Chilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Adcock, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Beech in the 61st minute of play forced Lavendon City's goalkeeper Kristopher Chilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tod Jowsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Kristopher Chilton made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lavendon City's Denny Lester got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Bromley Boys getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Christopher Fawcett hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Guy Gunn notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Bromley Boys's Louie Hawkins. Louie Hawkins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Perry Laycock took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Louie Hawkins. Louie Hawkins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 84 minutes into the match, Tod Jowsey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristopher Chilton. Lavendon City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tod Jowsey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After a rather tough play, Bromley Boys's Byron Sewell got a free kick in the 88th minute. Louie Hawkins came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Lavendon City's Guy Gunn. But to his dismay, Guy Gunn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. After having played for 94 minutes, Perry Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavendon City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perry Laycock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Denny Lester fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lavendon City's protests and gave Denny Lester a yellow card for diving instead. The Bromley Boys players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lavendon City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
