Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Manchester's Frankie Horsell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pete Mansell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Price having to interfere. The supporters of FC Manchester booed when They Think Its Moldova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Connor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in They Think Its Moldova's zone, Frankie Horsell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stewart Price came out of the goal and Frankie Horsell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stewart Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Bray, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes They Think Its Moldova got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Connor. Pete Mansell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC Manchester defense, Oliver Blunt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Stockley. The FC Manchester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Stockley should have stopped the shot. Simon Stockley made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Simon Winterbottom sent off a good shot on target. Stewart Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Horsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, They Think Its Moldova's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Horsell came free, but Stewart Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Chaz Harkness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Stockley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chaz Harkness stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jim Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Frankie Horsell rounded They Think Its Moldova's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Frankie Horsell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 70th playminute. Simon Stockley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaz Harkness in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Chaz Harkness made a precise shot to the right of Simon Stockley. FC Manchester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 87 minutes into the game, They Think Its Moldova's Chaz Harkness nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Stockley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Winterbottom in the 91st minute of play forced FC Manchester's goalkeeper Simon Stockley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stewart Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Horsell in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute FC Manchester were awarded a corner. Frankie Horsell went to the cornerflag to take it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
