Craig Cole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matty Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matty Nicholson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Philip Riley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husbands Bosworth and the Skadoosh ! players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Husbands Bosworth getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Philip Riley hit a great ball. Duncan Pickford hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth's Jonathon Eldridge got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Husbands Bosworth's goalkeeper Jo Cavanagh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Brough. In the 30th minute, Matty Nicholson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth's Jonathon Eldridge got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Jez Briant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Husbands Bosworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Price to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Skadoosh ! getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Matty Nicholson hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Patrick Brough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matty Nicholson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Cavanagh having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shane Bator to strike the kick off in the second half. Paddy Flack put his foot forward to block Skadoosh ! from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 0-1 in the 53rd matchminute. 56 minutes into the match, Husbands Bosworth's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Brough came free, but Jo Cavanagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Cavanagh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Matty Nicholson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Cavanagh having to interfere. Patrick Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Skadoosh !'s Patrick Brough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Cavanagh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mark Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Cole having to interfere. The Husbands Bosworth fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Husbands Bosworth's Mark Price looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matty Nicholson in the 72nd minute of play forced Husbands Bosworth's goalkeeper Jo Cavanagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Brough struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jo Cavanagh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skadoosh !. If Patrick Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute of the match Edward Dodgson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Craig Cole showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Matty Nicholson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jo Cavanagh was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Jo Cavanagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Brough in the 92nd minute of play.
