Spectators: 8486 (Terracing: 6366, Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Donnelly started the match with the kick off. When John Donnelly came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the TibaDons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Donnelly couldn't finish the play. In the 3rd minute, John Donnelly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Meechan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brian Meechan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Donnelly's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Brian Meechan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Donnelly in the 8th minute of play. The TibaDons fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when TibaDons's Christian Fenton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Christian Fenton might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brian Meechan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Fenton ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute John Donnelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Meechan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that John Donnelly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brian Meechan was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, John Donnelly put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Brian Meechan. In the 22nd minute John Donnelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Meechan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Meechan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Donnelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game John Donnelly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but I Love You Debra's Brian Meechan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Donnelly in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Meechan saved I Love You Debra from getting behind. Christian Fenton took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Meechan. Brian Meechan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Brian Meechan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Donnelly in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Christian Fenton notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of I Love You Debra's Brian Meechan. Brian Meechan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, John Donnelly put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Brian Meechan. After a defensive mix-up in I Love You Debra's zone, Christian Fenton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Meechan came out of the goal and Christian Fenton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Meechan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by TibaDons's John Donnelly. But to his dismay, John Donnelly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. If John Donnelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Bellomo's late challenge caught a I Love You Debra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Bellomo helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes TibaDons got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Bellomo. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, John Donnelly put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Brian Meechan.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trevor Abbotts to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes John Donnelly rounded I Love You Debra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. John Donnelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Fenton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Meechan having to make a save. With an all-out effort, TibaDons's Brian Meechan threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierce Gerrard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brian Meechan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Donnelly in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute TibaDons were awarded a corner. Marek Sykes went to the cornerflag to take it. I Love You Debra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Pierce Gerrard scored to the left of an out of position Brian Meechan, making the score, 0-12. John Donnelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Brian Meechan made a huge save. In the 80th minute, John Donnelly left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TibaDons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. The crowd rose to their feet as TibaDons's Christian Fenton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brian Meechan. That made the score 0-15 after 83 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Fenton in the 86th minute of play forced I Love You Debra's goalkeeper Brian Meechan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Trevor Abbotts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I Love You Debra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TibaDons the free kick. In the 88th minute, Trevor Abbotts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TibaDons's John Donnelly was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by John Donnelly got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 97 minutes into the game, TibaDons's Ian Emander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Meechan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. TibaDons's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
