After 3 played minutes Blandford Forum got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Allison. The audience was convinced that Henry Dawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Gardner was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Blandford Forum's Pedro Gardner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Blandford Forum from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Henry Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Blandford Forum defense, Jo Rooney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Gardner. The Blandford Forum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Gardner should have stopped the shot. The attack was good, but when Henry Dawson in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pedro Gardner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tristan Kyle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Pedro Gardner came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Powerpuffs's Jo Rooney. But to his dismay, Jo Rooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tosh Clayton's late challenge caught a Blandford Forum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tosh Clayton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Powerpuffs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tosh Clayton to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Dawson in the 31st minute of the match. When Billie Woodward fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blandford Forum's protests and gave Billie Woodward a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Billie Woodward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Rooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Jo Rooney could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Pedro Gardner however easily saved by the left post. Jo Rooney received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Gardner came out and tried to block the shot, but Jo Rooney slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Powerpuffs's Jo Rooney slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Gardner. That made the score 5-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 44th minute Henry Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Powerpuffs booed when Blandford Forum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billie Woodward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Dawson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powerpuffs. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jo Rooney made a kick off. Henry Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Jo Rooney had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Gardner. Blandford Forum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Rooney was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Tristan Kyle scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Gardner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Kyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blandford Forum's Pedro Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Dawson in the 65th minute of play.
