Cityzens's Feliciano Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Waple in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cityzens's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Shakespeare came free, but Feliciano Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Higgins got free with Feliciano Artaldo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Cityzens defense, Dominic Fenton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Artaldo. The Cityzens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Artaldo should have stopped the shot. Feliciano Artaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Higgins in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Higgins got free with Feliciano Artaldo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jon Rusby was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 35 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cityzens fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Cityzens's Feliciano Artaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Cityzens from getting a goal against them.
