The corner led Real Ale Madrid's Brynn Turnbull to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Carlos Jaime despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Piorno Camino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Bartlett in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes Real Ale Madrid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brett Houghton who took care of the corner kick. Brett Houghton made a great header on Abracadabra CF's corner, it was just that Real Ale Madrid's Piorno Camino managed to reach the ball for a save. When Martijn González came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Real Ale Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martijn González couldn't finish the play. Piorno Camino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristopher Bartlett went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Real Ale Madrid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brynn Turnbull in the 42nd minute. Kristopher Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piorno Camino having to interfere. Basil Ingram's late challenge caught a Real Ale Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basil Ingram helped the player get up and apologised. Basil Ingram kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Martijn González left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Ale Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 55th minute of the game Brynn Turnbull made a throw-in which Waclaw Maurycy played forward. Juan Carlos Jaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn González in the 57th minute of the match. Juan Carlos Jaime was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn González in the 69th minute of play forced Abracadabra CF's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Jaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Real Ale Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Doug Nowland. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes Brett Houghton shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Piorno Camino when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar.
