The tension between the Great Yarmouth and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Great Yarmouth getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jordan Straker hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Michael Turk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Turk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tosh Goodwin took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwyn Boyes. Gwyn Boyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Egg Chasers FC's Vincent Blakeley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Egg Chasers FC from getting a goal against them. Gwyn Boyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Goodwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Natanael Vives's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwyn Boyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johnathan Jobson in the 22nd minute. Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Fowler in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Great Yarmouth got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Straker. In the 31st minute Natanael Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Boyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Vives kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With his leg Vincent Blakeley managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Great Yarmouth's Freddy Vine fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johnathan Jobson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 41st minute of play forced Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Gwyn Boyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tosh Goodwin in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwyn Boyes saved Great Yarmouth from getting behind. Tosh Goodwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gwyn Boyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Vincent Blakeley got control of the ball when Freddy Vine tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Freddy Vine made the kick off in the second half. Vincent Blakeley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Vine, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Bruce Marler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwyn Boyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Bruce Marler came free, but Gwyn Boyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Bruce Marler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyn Boyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tosh Goodwin got free with Gwyn Boyes in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Gwyn Boyes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tosh Goodwin. Vincent Blakeley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Vine in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Freddy Vine made a precise shot to the right of Vincent Blakeley. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 81st minute, Bruce Marler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwyn Boyes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Robbie Fowler hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Freddy Vine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwyn Boyes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tosh Goodwin in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Tosh Goodwin came free, but Gwyn Boyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Great Yarmouth fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Egg Chasers FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
