Dean Simms had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Caco Moura from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 21st minute of the match The Globo Red got a corner. Broken bottles FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominik Webb ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dominik Webb almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Broken bottles FC's Dean Simms did a great save. Dean Simms made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Moura in the 24th minute. Dean Simms came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by The Globo Red's Caco Moura. But to his dismay, Caco Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Moura in the 34th minute of play forced Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper Dean Simms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, The Globo Red's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Chuan Wen came free, but Ramon Wright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, The Globo Red's Ramiro Barros got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 46 played minutes Broken bottles FC got a freekick which was hit by Sun Chuan Wen. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The Globo Red made a substitution. Jon Downes replaced Thomas Case. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Archie Sansom was the one to do the kick off. Caco Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Simms having to interfere. The The Globo Red fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when The Globo Red's Caco Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dean Simms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Simms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Hurren in the 60th minute of the match. The Globo Red's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominik Webb in the 61st minute. The Globo Red's Dominik Webb was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dean Simms in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Caco Moura struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Dean Simms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Globo Red. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Caco Moura put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dean Simms. Broken bottles FC's Eddy Moody was substituted for Archie Sansom. Broken bottles FC made a substitution. Curtis Claydon replaced Antanas Sabaliauskas. The Globo Red were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Broken bottles FC for a fine match.
