An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Severo in the 11th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Júlio Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fred Lineker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ma Ting Nan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Joey was relentless in the 19th minute of the game.
