The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Xu Ming left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BARCELONA BB6 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Chong Song in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Friggle FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Amerigo Sciotto hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Honorio Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Aurken took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Boruc. Arturo Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Friggle FC's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Chong Song in the 27th minute of play. Arturo Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Aurken went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Xu Ming had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Boruc. Friggle FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xu Ming was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Arturo Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Ming went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The FC BARCELONA BB6 fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when FC BARCELONA BB6's Honorio Aurken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half FC BARCELONA BB6 were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Rex Jackson threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC BARCELONA BB6's Todd Carter quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 51 minutes into the game, FC BARCELONA BB6's Xu Ming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. In the 55th minute, FC BARCELONA BB6's Zhang Chong Song dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Honorio Aurken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Arturo Boruc made a huge save. If Donald Hazell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Chong Song, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Xu Ming ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Boruc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Arturo Boruc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhang Chong Song, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Boruc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorio Aurken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 67 minute of play. Arturo Boruc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Aurken went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Aurken got free with Arturo Boruc in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Todd Carter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arturo Boruc. Todd Carter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. Arturo Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Aurken in the 86th minute. Friggle FC's Arturo Boruc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Friggle FC from getting a goal against them. Arturo Boruc made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Honorio Aurken sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA BB6's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Hazell came free, but Oliveira Lesak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Honorio Aurken took a quick shot and it went in 0-17 without a chance for Arturo Boruc to make any attempt to save it. FC BARCELONA BB6 played a much better game than Friggle FC and deserved their victory. The Friggle FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
