Spectators: 9193 (Terracing: 6896, Seating: 2114, VIP seats: 183) Txema Cerbera made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Thomas Stenger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garlic Eaters's Eurico Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Rawlings in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Rawlings in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaur Kapten saved Modernians from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Eurico Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txema Cerbera. The supporters of Modernians booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Ainsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Stenger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txema Cerbera got free with Eurico Moreno in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. James Parrondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Eurico Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txema Cerbera. Thomas Stenger succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 33 minutes in the game, Eliodor Rădulescu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Kaur Kapten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacob Rawlings went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Garlic Eaters's Eurico Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Stenger in the 38th minute of play. Sam Lunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Eurico Moreno made a huge save. If James Parrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Jacob Rawlings made the kick off in the second half. Kaur Kapten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dale Gildea. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Stenger in the 56th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Eurico Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Sam Lunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Stenger came free, but Eurico Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Spencer hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Pierce Wrigley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garlic Eaters's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierce Wrigley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaur Kapten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Lunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eurico Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Sam Lunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modernians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Lunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykut Suhan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Stenger in the 81st minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Eurico Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garlic Eaters's attentive Reg Shilton managed to snatch the ball when Gerry Sollit made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tamás Portik hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txema Cerbera in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico Moreno saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Txema Cerbera notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Garlic Eaters's Eurico Moreno. Eurico Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
