The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo Bezerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txema Cerbera's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quentin Pope in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaur Kapten saved Modernians from getting behind. Leonardo Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Stenger, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Leonardo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txema Cerbera in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Lunt came free, but Leonardo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Pope in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Endre Sámuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohemians Praa's supporters rose to their feet, but Endre Sámuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaur Kapten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaur Kapten made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Quentin Pope sent off a good shot on target. Txema Cerbera scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Thomas Stenger made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Bezerra. Bohemians Praa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sam Lunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leonardo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Spencer tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Kaur Kapten. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 28th minute. The Bohemians Praa fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Bohemians Praa's Endre Sámuel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34thth minute of the game Endre Sámuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modernians's Kaur Kapten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Modernians's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Pope came free, but Kaur Kapten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Leonardo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Lunt in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quentin Pope stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Pope in the 55th minute of play. Sylvester Stallone charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylvester Stallone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bohemians Praa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Kaur Kapten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Pope's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Lunt could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Leonardo Bezerra however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Txema Cerbera in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Bezerra saved Bohemians Praa from getting behind. Kaur Kapten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bohemians Praa made a substitution. Lance Gomersall replaced Jude Parry. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modernians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Ramalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Bohemians Praa's players had a chance to rest. Leonardo Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Lunt in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Quentin Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bohemians Praa's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Pope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaur Kapten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Txema Cerbera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Bezerra. Txema Cerbera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. After 97 played minutes Bohemians Praa got a freekick which was hit by Lance Gomersall. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Modernians eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
