Spectators: 10858 (Terracing: 8145, Seating: 2497, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Saville started the match with the kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Dan Saville who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ariel Leguizamón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Mitchell Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Mitchell Godwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mateo Jago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateo Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Madureira in the 18th minute of play. If Ulysses Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Willetts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Mateo Jago skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the game, Dan Saville cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ariel Leguizamón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Ulysses Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Jago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mateo Jago made a huge save. Marcin Cebula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rawmarsh defense, Ulysses Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Jago. The Rawmarsh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Jago should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kemalettin Torhan was substituted for Mitchell Godwin. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulysses Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Saville's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Leguizamón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Mateo Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Cebula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rawmarsh's Mateo Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rawmarsh's zone, Kemalettin Torhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Jago came out of the goal and Kemalettin Torhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kemalettin Torhan in the 64th minute of play forced Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Mateo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Madureira came free, but Mateo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Jago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulysses Madureira's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Rawmarsh's Mateo Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Rambo in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ulysses Madureira notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rawmarsh's Mateo Jago. Mateo Jago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rawmarsh made a substitution. Nicodim Mihu replaced Dan Saville. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kurtuluş Babür was substituted for Charlie Grantham. Mateo Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, Rawmarsh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Morrell to maneuver through the defense. Rawmarsh's Ralf Welch was substituted for Frank Blake. After a rather tough play, Rawmarsh's Peter Morrell got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Jonathan Willetts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Willetts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes Rawmarsh got a freekick which was hit by Devon Nicholson. Rawmarsh's Mateo Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 89th minute of play. When Clapham Comets F.C.'s Aaron Rambo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rawmarsh's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kemalettin Torhan in the 94th minute of play forced Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Mateo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Clapham Comets F.C. got a corner. Rawmarsh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulysses Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Clapham Comets F.C.'s Kemalettin Torhan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Cebula in the 97th minute of play forced Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Mateo Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rawmarsh's zone, Aaron Rambo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Jago came out of the goal and Aaron Rambo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rawmarsh's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
