With a little luck, Malinovo City's Tomáš Bacho got control of the ball when Vladimír Hrubý tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomáš Bacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ondrej Ikra in the 18th minute of the match. Malinovo City's Tomáš Bacho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondrej Ikra in the 20th minute of play. Viktor Šivár came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Malinovo City's Miroslav Šípoš. But to his dismay, Miroslav Šípoš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in UX Hermanovce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Miroslav Babič walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Viktor Šivár didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miroslav Šípoš went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ondrej Ikra in the 35th minute of play forced Malinovo City's goalkeeper Tomáš Bacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimír Hrubý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimír Hrubý struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tomáš Bacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UX Hermanovce. In the 42nd minute, UX Hermanovce's Ondrej Ikra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomáš Bacho. Tomáš Bacho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Vladimír Hrubý could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tomáš Bacho made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ondrej Ikra to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Malinovo City's Jozef Svatoň sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Šivár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in UX Hermanovce's zone, Miroslav Šípoš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Šivár came out of the goal and Miroslav Šípoš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Malinovo City booed when UX Hermanovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krištof Pelikán didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to UX Hermanovce getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Matej Lukavský hit a great ball. Jozef Svatoň sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Móric Žembera's late challenge caught a UX Hermanovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Móric Žembera helped the player get up and apologised. Móric Žembera kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. UX Hermanovce's Ondrej Ikra got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ondrej Ikra in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Bacho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to UX Hermanovce getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Michal Fándly hit a great ball. Jozef Svatoň fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Šivár having to interfere. When Miroslav Šípoš came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Malinovo City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Šípoš couldn't finish the play. When Ondrej Ikra came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the UX Hermanovce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ondrej Ikra couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Ondrej Ikra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomáš Bacho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tomáš Bacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ondrej Ikra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
